RENNtech CERTIFICATION
Do you have a RENNtech, AMG, or other special Mercedes-Benz in your collection?
Whether it is an early Classic or a RENNtech tuned Modern vehicle, we can help in authenticating the history and upgrades of these vehicles.
RENNtech’s Certification of Authenticity program delivers verified documentation for RENNtech, pre-merger AMG, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles built between 1967 and 2000.
Each certification includes:
• Detailed parts inspection • Historical verification and documentation • Certificate of Authenticity • Vehicle Inspection Report
Vehicle Certification Inspections
Vehicle certification inspections are conducted by Hartmut Feyhl, RENNtech founder and former Technical Director at AMG (1977–1989) — the only individual in North America with direct technical experience from the pre-merger AMG era. Using original RENNtech and AMG blueprints, Mr. Feyhl authenticates performance upgrades, factory modifications, and build details with unmatched expertise. RENNtech’s long-standing relationship with Affalterbach and AMG Classics provides exclusive access to internal RENNtech and AMG archives, including production data and technical records for European, Japanese, and North American market vehicles.
Two categories of certification are available:
Complete Engine and Drivetrain
For vehicles with Engine, Chassis, Exterior, and Interior modifications.
Optical Upgrades
For vehicles with modifications to the Interior, Exterior, and Wheels.
Off-Site Location Certification
For vehicles that cannot be transported, RENNtech offers Off-Site Inspections. Conducted by Hartmut Feyhl, the process mirrors our in-house certification protocol. However, the level of inspection may vary based on the facility, tools, and environment available on-site.
